By submitting the closed beta application form on jobot.dev, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Jobot Is

Jobot is an open-source, self-hosted tool for automating job search workflows. The landing page at jobot.dev is a waitlist page for the closed beta program. The tool itself runs on your own machine.

2. Data We Collect on This Website

When you submit the closed beta application form, we collect:

Your name and email address
Your answers to the application questions (job search status, experience, role type)
Any optional message you include

This data is submitted to Web3Forms, a third-party form service, and delivered to us via email. It is used solely to manage closed beta access and follow up with applicants. We do not sell this data.

3. Analytics

This website uses Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-first. No personally identifiable information is tracked. No cookies are set. No consent banner is required.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

5. The Open-Source Tool

Jobot the application is released under the MIT License. When you self-host and run Jobot:

All data (resume, API keys, job listings) stays on your own machine.
Jobot makes outbound calls only to Gmail's official API and your chosen LLM provider (Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter).
No data is sent to any Jobot server — there is no Jobot server.

6. Closed Beta Access

Submitting the application form does not guarantee access to the closed beta. We will contact accepted applicants by email. Beta access is limited to 30 builders.

7. No Warranty

Jobot is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Use it at your own risk. See the MIT License for full terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance.
